…Went bookcase shopping
…Then fruit & veg shopping
… And the rest of the day was spent here (note my uber hightech table under the TV)
Day 10 - January 10 2008 (3)
A bunch of randoms today:
Where I work (the big grey building).
Two firemen out in the city collecting money for charity (note to self: when taking photos of people doing charity stuff - give them money!)
Dessert - warm plum & almond cake, it was really yummy!
Day 9 - January 09 2008 (3)
Today I was working from another Maddy challenge - to take a photo of something that made me angry, something that made me sad, and something that made me happy. Being stuck in the office all day, not even leaving for lunch, made these a little duller than I would have liked.
Everytime I walk past this house in my street I get angry that they could abandon the house and leave it in such disrepair. Clean it up and sell it if you don’t want it, don’t leave it for the local druggies to set up camp in.
So yummy, but I feel sad when I think of what it will do to my waist :/
HAPPY, Wheeee!! So, I had been looking for these for months, and finally found them. Today they arrived!
Day 8 - January 08 2008 (3)
Today I was lacking in inspiration, so all these were taken this evening.
When I came home this afternoon my next door neighbours cat Chris was sitting on her car, and it made me laugh
In my mums car there lives Tigger, my traveling buddy. (hehe, you can almost see up my nose)

Yeh, my parents are lunatics … but they are so much fun.
Day 7 - January 07 2008 (3)
Today was an experimental day - sepia, yay!
Playing hide & seek with Tarem
Tunnel under Elizabeth St, Sydney
A row of run down terraces in Liverpool St, Darlinghurst
Day 6 - January 06 2008 (3)
Today I was issued with a fantastic challenge from Maddy - to take a photo of something I had not seen before, but is nothing special and can be seen in every day life. It’s very open to interpretation, so I hope these are ok and not considered cheating or anything!
Taken from the shopping trolleys point of view, it’s the purple wall in my local supermarket. This is horrifying to admit to, seeing as though I’m obsessed with anything purple, but I have never before noticed the purple wall. I guess that shows how much attention I pay when doing my grocery shopping!
These signs are painted on roads all around Sydney, but I had not seen this wonky one before, despite crossing at this place multiple times before.
A pretty movie theater than I had never seen/been in before at Fox Studios, Sydney
Day 5 - January 05 2008 (3)
Today is a few boring shots, sorry. I barely left the house, so you get a few random things from around here.
It’s a me!
My lolly jar, still bursting with christmas elves, freddos, cand canes and peanut butter lindt balls (so much for the diet…)
A plant growing out of a wall upstairs on my balcony
Day 4 - January 04 2008 (3)
I found this quote to be really amusing, in the doorway of Elizabeth’s Bookshop, Pitt St Sydney.
My wrist. I was sitting waiting for Buttercup, staring at my watch every 3 seconds (she was due at 1:05), and figured - hey, why not take a photo of what I keep staring at. Yes, I’m odd - expect more of it.
Homeless in Sydney. He lives there in that doorway in Pitt St, Sydney
Day 3 - January 03 2008 (3)
These bright orange signs are all the way down George St, Sydney.
The pedestrian don’t walk man
The top of the Christmas tree that spans 3 levels of the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney
Day 2 - January 02 2008 (3)
My lunch - Chicken rice paper rolls. Yes, I do eat at my desk - shoosh. One of my aims for my project 365 is to get me out of the office at lunch time with my camera!
I was doing a new profile for my writing journal (using this picture, of my handwriting), and figured I’d include it in my 365, with names blurred for privacy. I often take photos of my handwriting; I find it amusingly messy.
I just noticed that my tap needs cleaning. But if you look past that, it’s a pretty cool photo, especially the way the water bubbles coming out of the tap.
